NOVEL TRAINING CENTRE TO COLLABORATE WITH NDAS FOR CONDUCT OF HSE COURSES

A representative of Novelle Training Centre Mr Alex Peters paid a courtesy call to the NDAS in August 2025. The visit which was on the request of the CO NDAS was to work out modalities for the conduct of HSE 1,2 and 3 at NDAS. The visit included discussions and a walk round the facilities of NDAS.

The rep of Novelle Training Centre, a leading safety training institution in the country, was impressed with the State of facilities at NDAS which he stated were adequate for the conduct of the required HSE training at NDAS. He promised to facilitate the conduct of the HSE Training bi-annually at NDAS as requested by the CO NDAS. The visit was concluded by an interaction with the Under Training Ratings, exchange of souvenirs and group photographs.

NDAS SECURE AGREEMENT WITH NOVELLE TRAINING CENTRE FOR THE CONDUCT OF HSE TRAINING AT NDAS

Following the earlier visit of the representative of Novelle Training Centre to NDAS, an agreement has been secured with the Centre for Bi-annual HSE 1, 2 and training at NDAS. The first training was to commence on 13 October 2025.

NDAS IN COLLABORATION WITH NOVELLE TRAINING CENTRE CONDUCTED HSE TRAINING AT NDAS FROM 13-16 OCTOBER 2025

NDAS in collaboration with Novelle Training Centre successful conducted HSE 1, 2 and 3 training at NDAS from 13-16 October 2025. The training which was the first ever at the school is expected to be conducted bi-annually at NDAS. Mr Alex Peter facilitated the training on behalf of Novelle Training Centre. The Admiral Superintendent Naval Dockyard Limited Rear Admiral IE Shehu was able represented by Cdre Agwu, the GM Plans Naval Dockyard Limited

NDAS secures a four year accreditation from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment for the conduct of Trade Test Examination. The approval was a follow up to the visit of Engr Godwin Ugwu to NDAS a few months back.

NDAS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT CONDUCTS TRADE TEST EXAMINATION FOR STAFF AND UTRS

On 25 September 2025 NDAS received 4 staffs/examiners from the Ministry of Labour and Employment for the conduct of Trade Test Examination for staff and UTRs. The team was led by Mrs Eti-John Nneka. The test covered plumbing, carpentry, welding, electrical, computer etc.

NDAS CONDUCTS EXCURSION VISITS FROM 7-9 OCTOBER 2025

In line with its curriculum, NDAS conducted excursion visits to the FSG WEST Lagos, Bedmate Furniture Ogun State and Ogas Steel Ogun State from 7-9 October 2025
